It's finally here! Follow My Lead is on the shelves! I am so happy that I get to share Jason and Winn's story with you. When we last met Jason Cummings, Duke of Rayne, he was Jane's annoying brother in The Summer of You. Well, he’s matured a bit since then, and has finally decided to get married – because it’s “what’s next.” But being the most sought after bachelor in London is a trial, so Jason takes refuge at the men-only Historical Society. Men-only, that is, until Winnifred Crane walks up to the door.
           
Winn is the author of anonymous papers that set the academic world on fire, but the little issue of her being female keeps the Historical Society from recognizing her as such. So she offers them an unusual dare: if she can prove the authorship of a certain painting, they grant her membership. But the proof is all the way across Europe… and she’ll need a travelling companion. Who better than Jason, who could use a break from the marriage-minded mamas of London?

I love the classic illustrations of Edwardian artist Charles E. Brock, whose work graced pocket reprints of Jane Austen, George Eliot, and more. I couldn’t resist basing Follow My Lead’s Book Trailer on his style of drawing. What do you think?
