Romance Sites Where I lurk:

I'm a lurker. I would comment, but I can never think of anything to say beyond "Yes, I agree!" or "Maybe not!" I'd sound like a magic eight ball. It's a secret shame.

The Book Smugglers

They've been mentioned on my site so many times, you must think I have stock in The Book Smugglers. However, they do very in depth and interesting reviews daily, and they have added to my TBR pile astronomically.

What Kate's Reading

No, this isn't me - but she's super cool so I understand your confusion. A personal reviewer site, Kate makes me giggle endlessly with her "Unbuttoned Yet Tucked In" series, which features reviews of books chosen by their cover alone - the more ludicrous, the better.

Babbling About Books

Katiebabs is the author of this site, and with her stuffed sheep sidekick Mho Fho, treads the murky waters of all things romance. (Side note: What is it with me and people named Kat(i)e? I am drawn like a moth to the flame!)

Smexy Books

Mandi of Smexy books keeps a list of her current boyfriends, favorite heroes from her favorite reads. But Shh! They don't know about each other!

Romance sites of information and learning, and therefore I visit them far less often than I should:

Romance Writer's of Amercia

-The Romance Writer's of America, the best possible resource for all things romance. So if you're an aspiring writer or a fan, check it out.

All About Romance

-An industry leading page that has interviews with authors, book reviews, industry news analysis and more.

The Passionate Pen

-Jenna Petersen/Jess Michaels runs this site, and has since before she was published. If you ever want an instructional course on the day-to-day life of someone trying to get into this business, read her diary's archives. Plus she has links to publishing houses and agents. This site was invaluable to me when I was trying to figure everything out, and still is.

Berkley/Jove

- My house. It's a very very very fine house.

Other Links, aka, How I Kill Time When I'm Supposed to be Working:

FMyLife

-I have what can only be described as a schadenfreude streak. I love reading about other people's misery, and lucky for me, other people love posting their funny/sad stories on this site.

Television without Pity

- Deconstructive and snarky analysis of your favorite Television shows. I start laughing almost every time I'm reading, and my office mates think there is something deeply wrong with me.

Go Fug Yourself

I am a terrible, terrible person. But when celebrities willingly wear bad outfits, I laugh and laugh and laugh...

Post Secret

A beautiful, heartbreaking, laugh out loud site where people submit their deepest secrets on a regular 4x6 postcard. The ingenuity and creativity of the submissions are astounding, and the secrets themselves... I'm constantly surprised by how many I recognize as my own.
